How We Can Work Together

My work is rooted in interpersonal psychology, relational therapy, and somatic approaches. I help clients deepen their awareness of the mind-body connection, exploring how emotions, thoughts, and patterns live in the body and shape relationships. Together, we pay attention to the nervous system, learning how it responds to stress, holds past experiences, and signals safety or threat in the present. By gently restoring regulation and flexibility in the nervous system, clients can release old patterns, cultivate resilience, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

I work collaboratively and relationally, inviting clients to explore both their inner world and their connections with those around them. My practice supports individuals, couples, and families.

IN DEPTH:
Integrative psychotherapy blends traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic practices, bringing attention to the body’s sensations as a pathway to understanding emotional states. Too often, we’re conditioned to process feelings only in our minds, leading to overthinking, and disconnection from the body. When we ignore the body’s stored experiences, stress, anxiety, and stagnation can build.

Emotions arise automatically through our sensory system, activating the limbic system and shaping our thoughts and perceptions-often before we’re even aware of it. Often known as the “fight-or-flight” response, this feedback loop can trap us in thinking about emotions rather than feeling them, furthering disconnection with ourselves, others and nervous system dysregulation. Simply put: when we are overthinking, we are underfeeling.
